College Animation Application Portfolio
This is a photo set of the different pieces I submitted to get into the Experimental Animation program at UCF. These are only photos of the products because each one was done by hand and they themselves are not for sale. I hope this helps people out a lot!
Note: The pieces in this set do not encompass EXACTLY what you need to do for your portfolio. Baseline, the requirements will more than likely be the same for the kinds of pieces you must submit. If not, adjust accordingly. Remember to just take your semester in stride, don't stress over it too much. Work hard but take your breaks, too! All the work done here was done over time. You do not need to rush to get any of this done, so don't.
It'll look better if you take your time. The final piece, which is a mask, is the product of 3D modeling and 3D printing. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THAT. But, remember it is an option, and if you are going into this program, you will have to learn how to 3D model at some point. But that is why the shape is precise. All of the drawings done are from Drawing Fundamentals 2 because I was still struggling with the concepts during that class. But don't be afraid to use any work you make in that class if you feel it represents your skills well! It varies from person to person. Good luck and remember to ask professors and anyone you know for advice and critique!
